CPC Claim form


Signing up for the CCBC service

1) Complete the new enquiry form
2) Complete Form A - [Master Form A.DOC]
3) Transmit test files


County Court Bulk Centre (Court number: 335)

The CCBC accepts claims as data files, produces the forms N1 and sends them
to the defendant.
If received by 10:00am, the claims will be produced that day.
CCBC fees are cheaper than standard County Court fees.
[Savings: Claims - at least £15, Warrants £30, Reissue warrant is FOC]
You then proceed with Judgment, Warrants and other enforcements.


CCBC - Bulk Claims - Procedure


  1. Unique centre user number - 4 x digits [National Creditor Code e.g. 1988]
    2. 

  2. Unique range of claim numbers supplied by CPC [Year is 4=2004/ 9=2009 etc.]
    3. 

  3. You revert to start of the Claim number sequence as the year changes
    4. 

  4. Submit Advice Note to CPC by fax OR
    5. 

  5. Advice Note to CCBC by email customerservice.cpc@hmcourts-service.gsi.gov.uk
    6. 

  6. Data file is submitted by Modem (see below)
    7. 

  7. File naming convention:- 2345ss.001 (claim) je, we, pd for judgment/warrant/paid
    8. 

  8. Sequence number 001 increments to 999, then round the clock again
    9. 

  9. Max 3000 per day
    10. 

  10. Name of authority for Particulars of Claim is supplied to the CCBC
    11. 

  11. Single statement of truth; Signature may be in electronic form
    12. 

  12. You may supply your standard CLAIMANT details in advance to CCBC
    13. 

  13. A summary of issue/ service notification is sent to you, the Centre User
    14. 

  14. Make fee cheques payable to the 'HMCS', sent to the CCBC at the above address
    15. 

  15. You may set up a 'Fee Deposit Account'

Set up modem link with CCBC in Northampton

1) Set up a modem connection with the specified parameters to the CCBC and
leave connection icon available on your desktop
2) Telephone number is:- 01604-630476
3) You will need an external or internal modem and a wire to a wall telephone socket
4) Dial the number and enter your User ID and Password
5) When connected, map a drive which represents a dedicated location for you 
on their server E.g.

\\10.16.1.10\1998abc will map a drive location as Z:\, Y:\, X:\ etc. on your system.

6) Set up an account with the CCBC which holds money to pay Court fees as they arise or
just pay by cheque.


Daily modem operations to the CCBC

1) Prepare all the files you wish to process each day E.g.

1998ss.011	10 x claims
1998je.005	7 x judgments
1998we.003	5 x warrants
1998pd.008	4 x paid, discontinued etc.

Zip up these 4 x files into ONE zip file ready for dropping off on your mapped Z:\ drive.
E.g. 1998_0007.ZIP.

2) Dial up and login
3) The drive Z:\ will be available to you in Microsoft Explorer, like any other
drive on your machine.
4) Copy and paste the file 1998_0007.ZIP into the Z:\ mapped location
5) Disconnect
6) Send the A4 Advice document to the CCBC by email
7) Post any fees by cheque (if required)
8) The CCBC will action your file
9) Notification back to you will follow by post
